  Friendly staff but poor service for example main meals came out 10 or so mins apart, staff running bar and restaurant so forgot sides. Quite a few of the dishes came out not hot, very limited menu particularly for veggies. Particularly poor was the 'Posh Puttenham salad' which consisted of a bag of mixed leaves, half a cherry tomato, a slice of cucumber, one large prawn and no more than a small spoonful of (not very tasty) crayfish and a small square of smoked salmon for £11. The general feeling I got was the kitchen was in many insistence using prepackaged frozen food.
  
  The beer was good, some of the food was OK but I do think the restaurant needs to be run more professionally and with better intent.
